Escape to the strange and wonderful

I am attracted to fairs, carnivals, and circuses. When I was a child my mom and dad would take us to the Great Southeastern Fair, in Atlanta. I was mesmerized by the lights and color, the strange people and the sounds and smells of the animals. I suppose I never outgrew those childhood memories. Such events are much more sterile these days than in earlier times. There are not as many animals for one thing. The cotton candy and peanuts are in sealed bags, but you can still get ill from carnival food for sure. The carnies also can still be creepy, but I see a lot of clean-cut youngsters manning the sideshows and games of chance and skill (mostly chance). Girlie shows and their greasy customers have moved online. Mom steered us clear of those areas.

I offer these images individually, but also as a custom, 10x10 inch hardbound book, in limited editions. Each edition is signed and numbered. Photographs in the book are printed on heavy weight, high quality paper, layflat pages, linen covers with a dust jacket.

Contact me at my email for more details. I can send you a low resolution PDF document you can review before you purchase. You have a 14 day return privilege, for any reason.
